It was only 6:30 PM when the picture was taken, but Shanghai is in the eastern side of a single unified time zone wide enough that it could have been five. Sunset that day was at 4:52 PM, local time; last light was at 6:18 PM. The color differences between the building lights and their reflections are present in the RAW file. I’m planning to go back to see if the water color changed the actual reflection, or whether it’s an artifact from the iPhone.
