When I passed this shop at night, it reminded me of the Hopper painting. From memory, I tried to find a similar angle. Then I graded the color (warmed the interior, cooled the exterior, dodged the trees and made them more orange) to match.

A grandfather carries his grandson's bike up the steps to the Chuanshang pedestrian bridge. The Chuanshang Footbridge bridge continues the trail from the Qiantan Youcheng Park northwards towards the Houtan Park. China has a mandatory retirement age of 60 for men and 55 for white-collar women, and demographics of four people over fifty for every child younger than ten. Grandparents with grandchildren in the parks and urban spaces are a common sight here.
